For this activity, I have taken Discussion #2 of the Childhood Nutrition section of my current online nutrition class, and put it into words. I'm hoping the process of aggregating feeds, adding links, and getting a grasp of the various terms in the blogging world will become second nature at some point! It's still a bit 'clunky', and I'm hoping that I'll feel comfortable enough with the whole idea of blogging to encourage my students to use blogs in future classes.

In the meantime, life goes on! It's c-c-COLD out here in Western Minnesota. Winter has arrived with 30 mile/hour winds, whipping in from the Dakotas, blowing snow around (mostly sideways:)...

Here's a picture of Gus, all 'fluffed up' for winter, trying to stay warm in the late afternoon sunlight...Connie Burnshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01887559547159556169noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3068319746168967122.post-1697420893335901532008-11-26T14:33:00.000-08:002008-11-26T14:35:19.307-08:00My Banner...

Connie Burnshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01887559547159556169noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3068319746168967122.post-82422548854763969072008-11-26T12:47:00.000-08:002008-11-26T12:51:47.663-08:00htmlMy first thoughts...

After a week online with this course, I've learned quite abit! I haven't worked much with html in the past. Html creator, yes- but plain ol' html... no! I've already been able to use what I've learned, by using html in my discussion posts in a class that I teach in WebCT.Connie Burnshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01887559547159556169noreply@blogger.com1
